Letter to Space Descendants

Remember the sixties? That's when we last thought that faith in humanity wasn't lost.
This soon ended - Arabs squeezed the oil, Russians with pain in their hearts released conquered territories from which they flew to space, and we mired in the sins of capitalism.

And now, despite all skeptics, we succeeded again.
Thank you all, we couldn't have done it without you. What happened is your achievement, each of you worked tirelessly, each earned their share of gratitude.

We saw it from a distance, it's beautiful. From there you understand that all these disputes about whose this or that point on the map is are meaningless.
You understand that you lived only for this moment. More precisely, all of you lived.

Therefore, dear descendants, we address you - don't be as stupid and irresponsible as your ancestors were.
They beat each other, were lazy, refused to work even 8 hours a day, unlike us and you. These 8 hours are nothing, we understood the value of minutes only from there.

While dogs barked at each other, our caravan flew.
Join the caravan and remember we only have one.

Stop using plastic and start reaching for diamonds.
Don't live in panel cages, because we and you are free birds.
Don't be dependent on anyone, each of us should have the right to live independently so nobody oppresses us.
Consume more responsibly. Don't consume what you don't need, whether it's information or goods.
Learn information technologies, because obviously the future is behind them and they're what will make you happy.
A productive person's day starts at 5 am, and we're living proof of this.

The human of the future is you. Independent of husband or wife, productive, consuming only what's needed. Law-abiding and responsible for all of us. You're the one worthy of space.

Follow these simple commandments and we can repeat this. And once again thank you, without you it wouldn't have worked.

Your Jeff and Elon.
