The city is located in the north. It turns out I visited Normandy. I knew it was somewhere in the north and remember the poem “Ma Normandie” from the school curriculum in the textbook L'oiseau bleu. Such is the irony of life, it took some 20 years.
There are trams in the city. The city is located on hills, and if you live in the “high” part of the city, you have a free ticket specifically to the stops so that you can get home. France is like that in these small “social” details that the modern world does not understand well.
In Russian chat rooms, I saw that the vibe in Le Havre is like home.
It turned out to be because of the panel buildings (the city was destroyed during the war, I wonder if in 2025 people got the point).
Yes, the vibe is very familiar and comfortable for me.

The museum is very interesting, a typical prefabricated building.

A typical prefabricated building. Very high-tech and cozy. If I were to live in a prefabricated building, it would only be in Le Havre. I was impressed by the idea of heating from ventilation (how cool the rooms look without radiators), but it's expensive, and you can't find it anywhere else.

Normandy is a coastal region, and every second person here is crazy about the sea.
Or even every first person. I took a boat trip.
It became clear why the troops landed here. Having been to northern France, I don't envy those who fought here. It's cold, the beaches are long, it's harsh, in short.

The interior is very impressive; I have never been inside such beauty (how easy it is to touch my heart of stone).
