Buying used books in Czech online store

Today I'd like to tell about how I bought several useful books in an online store of used books.

First, it's worth telling about how profitable it is to buy used books here. Usually, the difference is about 50%, but sometimes you can get something very rare, and in good and very good condition. You need to carefully look at the description, as always in an online store. Delivery in Czech Republic - by mail, cost about 80 crowns for 6.5 kg of books. Quite inexpensive.

So, what I bought:

Malý breviář pivovarů (price 50 crowns)

Mini-book about main Czech breweries. You can briefly read about them, see labels

Very little text

The interesting part is the collection of labels. Some of them can be seen in stores even now

Pravidla českého pravopisu (price 160 crowns)

This book would be good for everyone who studies Czech. This is an analog of the dictionary of difficulties of the Russian language. In the first part of the book the rules of spelling are given, then a large second part - dictionary. Analog on the internet.

If questions arise you can consult. Almost everything you need is described.

A version on disk is also attached. Though I have nowhere to insert this disk, I don't have a disk drive. Czechs, by the way, love to put a "CD" in the book.
I was very lucky, a new book at the time of writing the article costs 480 crowns.

Kruté lásky, Stendhal (100 crowns)

The book is very old, from 1930. But in perfect condition, only the cover faded a bit. Printed on very quality cardboard, there's nothing even to compare with modern.

At the end of the book it's even written that a total of 400 copies were printed, and this is 55. In general, you can sell it later and recoup the whole purchase :)

Černý obelisk , E. M. Remarque (80 crowns)

Classic from Remarque, just to read.

Slovník české frazeologie a idiomatiky (2 volumes, price 400 crowns)

I also bought a two-volume set of Czech phraseology and idiomatics. In this dictionary are written proverbs, sayings, oral expressions. They're very difficult to find, so again, for those who study the language - an indispensable thing.

The book was obtained very cheaply - on average, such a book can be bought for 2000 crowns. My copy is, in my opinion, untouched.

Pohorská vesnice, Božena Němcová (price 100 crowns)

I also bought a couple of books by Božena Němcová. For Czechs this is a classic. The books are quite simple, I took them to enrich the language.

Easy to read because of large font and illustrations. The book, you could say, is for children.

Babička, Božena Němcová (price 80 crowns)

This is also a classic, but already more famous.

Also large font, pictures are colorful.

At the end of the article I'd like to recommend the store itself https://www.antikvariaty.cz/. They give a 10% discount if you have ISIC.
