Recently a colleague brought a huge jar. No, not cucumbers. Sausages.
In general, it seems to me that Czech cuisine is extremely cool. Yes, a bit monotonous, yes, heavy. But Czechs definitely know how to cook and, even more so, brew beer.
But as for me, Czech beer snacks are not very good. What's it worth, for example, very smelly "beer cheese". But today we'll talk about pickled sausages with a cute name "drowned men" (utopenci).
Why drowned men, I hope, no need to explain =)
But here's a whole jar for you - 3.5 kilos of happiness. To one sausage you need to add 20 grams of onion and peppers.
The sign says - help yourself. For 3 days the jar stands almost untouched :) So dislike for drowned men knows no bounds.
If anyone's interested - the marinade tastes similar to the one tomatoes are pickled in. And the most offensive thing is that usually the sausages themselves are not very high quality - in these, for example, only 60% meat.
