Český Krumlov is an interesting town.
Everyone sort of knows about it, but what exactly they know - not clear.
The town is located in southern Czechia, so the main audience is Germans and Austrians, which will be clear from the first minutes.
The second thing that's immediately clear - it'll be beautiful because of the terrain
The old town is standard, in guidebooks this is surely "the narrowest street in Europe"
An incredible thing for a Russian person - you can put your ass on the road

The 2.5 Czech hipsters remaining in Krumlov have beautified the district

From ignorance you might think this is one of the most beautiful and best towns in Czechia
The first is true, the second - not quite
The town is in a depressed state because absolutely the entire center has been conquered by the tourism industry
You might think I'm exaggerating, but in summer brigades of local volunteers go to Krumlov to help local residents live
The town is so beautiful that it attracted Germans and Austrians who are ready to pay several times more than locals (such lunch prices, for example, only exist in the shittiest Prague establishments)
Because of this in the center of Český Krumlov literally nothing Czech remains - everything you saw is a perfectly groomed "European center"
Like a euro-renovation has nothing in common with Europe
So Český Krumlov is just as Czech
It becomes Czech if you go a bit outside the center
