April 2014
At the end of the school year in Podebrady one of my older Czech teachers invited everyone on a "trip" on the weekend. I got ready, came to the station in the morning, thinking there would be a party. At the party was me, my girlfriend, a random guy from the previous year and, well, the teacher. THE PARTY began.
The first point was some rotunda. I remember it because the teacher took out a sandwich and started eating it, and we all watched. At that moment I learned for many years ahead that first you need to put food in your backpack, and only then a camera.

The plan was this: we get somewhere by train (I absolutely don't remember where), walk on foot to Kost castle through Bohemian Paradise (it's a region), and back by train

I took many photos, but chose "the most Czech ones"

Already in 2022 I saw in the photo that we walked through a random village called "Sobotka", which is on the border of Central Bohemian and Hradec Kralove regions

A Czech woman lives here, I call this type "soft Czechs"

And this is a Czech village

And these are Czech stones

All colors are extremely familiar

In places there was even civilization (in the photo the teacher and Serbian companion)

We all talked in Czech, I was silent and listened, felt shy. During the walk I learned that the guy from last year is about to have a son, he's all scared of fatherhood. I realized I have nothing to say, my life is completely uninteresting.
The teacher supported him as she could, like being a parent is cool. Look, she herself has a young daughter. Teaches Czech in fact, blonde. That's how I learned that one of my young blonde teachers is her daughter, and that she's into Estonians, and went there on exchange to study a few days ago. Well, FYI she threw in.
The Serb's chosen one is called Veronika. And he's a foreigner like me, just entered university, what children. And also a child is about to be born to another one of our young teachers, who was young and pretty a few months ago (one of the first Czech women if not the first to receive from me the title of pretty), also called Veronika.
About 5 hours on the road I needed to put two plus two together: the only guy who got up at 8 am and left home away from his close ones to walk through nature with a random Russian - the future father of the son of one of my teachers, who really loved to chat and was all cheerful and young. Come to Czech courses, it's fun and interesting here

The castle was visible

Me in 2014 model year, realizing that hitting on teachers is normal (and useful for the visa too)
