Poděbrady

Podebrady is a landmark city for me, because here I spent my first (and best) year in Czechia.
About Podebrady I've written a bunch of articles

2013-2014

Immediately upon arrival the city seemed too well-maintained

Everything so European

And the grass is greener!

And buildings are older!

And parking is straighter

And the rainbow more tolerant

And bushes burned down, because design

These feelings as they were, so they remained

As in all "lazne" (resorts), through the park goes a "colonnade"

In 2013 only "Sara Fashion" confused me. In 2021 the shop still stands. Turned out, all of Europe is somehow Sara Fashion

The clock in the central part of the park is updated every day

In Podebrady there are springs with mineral water (this one - very iron)

Second most important square

In 2013 it surprised me that payphones remained in cities

Then I thought these were - city buses, then I didn't know that you can travel around the region between small towns too

Elbe river

Main square - King George's is being renovated to this day

The turn that more than once pissed me off over 8 years of living in Czechia, letting through there isn't exactly loved, and this is - the main exit from the city

My first fair

Europe, beautiful

Castle where we studied

Way home, to the dorm

Actually, the dorm. September 3, 2013 in the evening the space in front of the dorm was occupied by cool schoolkids, some smoked, some showed off, some called mom. I - was worried.

In evenings Podebrady are also beautiful, though absolutely empty, like the soul of a schoolkid who's lived away from home 3 months

Every graduate returns to Podebrady for nostalgia

In autumn they're also good

Here I bought meat

In 2014 I even tested night photography

The beautiful 21st century in Czechia was waiting for me

October 2021

In 2021 in "Podiks" everything's still good

Graffiti is new

Skatepark is new

Hearts at the castle still haven't been removed, everyone likes them

Castle without changes, except lessons are now online

King George without changes

Road home without changes

After 8 years it just became clear that in Podebrady life is buzzing compared to any other Czech town

So many people in the center

I got a little older over these years

And notice boards with announcements got stuck in eternal 2013

You'll never guess what year this photo was taken

Only like this

There are very few changes in the city - here, for example, a restaurant opened

On the waterfront they improved the little tent

Bike path still beautiful and in excellent condition

Elbe still wet

Long live Podebrady
