I'm - a fan of fast travel, I try to see as much interesting as possible in the shortest time. Where would I start in Prague if time is very limited?
I've already developed a system in which I'm comfortable traveling. For capitals and cities where there's something to see, I try to allocate at least 2 days. Overall, I look at 2 cities per day (because usually there's nothing to look at - I don't go to museums).
Prague - is an exception city, for which, ideally, you need to spend much more - about 4 days. Of the cities where I've been, perhaps only Paris deserves such great attention.
When I travel through capitals, one of the first rules - try to immediately use public transport. If there's a river - need to go on a river tour, however banal it may be. From the river you can see a lot at once, and then go to the places you particularly liked.
In Prague there's a river, so if you're in Prague in warm weather and you have little time - take a ticket for a river cruise.

Many boats run, in summer many offers with discounts. Our ticket cost about 100 crowns, I think.
Prague - is a city with interesting terrain, so many beautiful views will open up to you from the very beginning of the walk.

The best thing in Prague - is the tram network, you'll see it too :)

Non-standard views on and from under the bridge :)

Generally Prague - is a river city, in summer even ferries work here, which you can ride with a regular ticket. In Prague with public transport everything's excellent in general, the ticket works in metro, trams, buses, boats and funicular. Perhaps, the best transport system in Europe, and also costs 10 crowns per day (less than 0.5 euros), if you buy an annual pass.

Overall, even from this couple of photos you can create an image of Prague in your head.

Warm colors, Prague Castle.

Charles Bridge loved by tourists and not loved by locals

Which looks like this from below

Many tours, almost all make a circle around the bridge

Well and Prague - it's good in details. First rule of a tourist in Prague - head up.

Many seagulls on the river, extremists can throw bread, although as far as I remember, it's forbidden :)

The central region of Czechia is called in Czech "Čechy", we know this word as "Bohemia".

And generally - Prague is sometimes like this too, but to start liking it, you need to live here :)
