First thing a tourist sees. Best way to travel from Prague is by train, 7 hours and you're here.
In the first couple minutes Hungary causes dissonance: what kind of country is this even? Euro-Turks?

Purely Budapest thing. Drivers in the center stop and let you pass absolutely everywhere if traffic is single-lane. No crosswalks

We came to our first Airbnb
Inside the house turned out to be a classic investor property. Everything's beat up, but fine for a day
Traffic in the old center is very calm
This is how I remember the city
Everything green-red-white
And a bit rural
The very center is noisy. No adult tourists, mainly just drunk kids and underage adventure seekers

District of beat-up punk bars. Skirts noticeably shorten, drunk schoolkids noticeably louder
Inside everything's very civilized, Hungarians themselves just sell entertainment but don't really participate in it
In places the city is straight up Stockholm
In places - some Istanbul
Yellow trams make any city straight up beautiful
Bridges are long, wind blows on them, unpleasant to walk
Budapest - city of two banks
Again, this is Budapest for me
Terrible beauty at every meter

This is how we lived - internal balconies. Few places have this everywhere
The only obvious minus of Budapest - the city is still a cheap whore for now
People come here, like to Prague, mainly only degenerates. Moreover at home degenerates always behave extremely quietly
I hope one day both Prague and Budapest will be very expensive

Food looks better than it tastes. Budapest - city of victorious hipsters, so presentation above all
In the evening the city is also fine
But nothing interesting, city's a bit too wide for walks

And there's a district like Prague's Vinohrady
Anyway, Budapest - another dream city that has everything

Returned to the city by bus this time. Train is better
Arrived a bit in the ass-end, turned out the city is great there too
And the language is great
And I'm great there
In Budapest you'll feel extremely good
