November 2021
Berlin - interesting city. So much connected with it for me, and I never really took photos there.
In 2017 I broke my knee and Berlin tickets were lost.
In 2019 I came there for a week and saw my first speeds - zero photos for the week.
This time I just came to walk, was too lazy to take photos. The city - just not meant to be in my case.
We lived in the Rummelsburg area - for grandmas.

Berlin is good because it looks decent absolutely anywhere, even completely outside the center

Oh yeah, and also this everywhere

Churches at every step

Every year there's renovation here and it's always done ass-backwards: pedestrians - the last ones utilities think about

All of Berlin in one photo. For me this is - a city of bicycles, orange ashtray bins, crossings without zebras and strange little men on traffic lights

City center - one of the most unappealing in Europe

Outside the center - everything's beautiful

And hipster

Berlin - good example of a city "for living"

And Germany - one of the countries with which I have a love-hate relationship, moreover both love and hate - very strong.

August 2023
This time I came to Berlin with my aikido section for a so-called "aikido seminar". Teachers and students from all possible countries come to the city, train, drink together.
From interesting and unavailable to the public - you can almost always sleep in the "dojo" in a sleeping bag with your dudes, i.e. accommodation, basically, free. Slept in Kreuzberg area, 5 minutes from metro - would've been pricey.

Berlin's unlucky - again I barely took photos, just walked, ate and enjoyed life.

So take my word for it, here are Berlin updates:
- city became slightly less shitty
- German women look you deep in the eyes and soul, feeling like death by snu-snu awaits you at every step
- city became wildly international, feels like New York or London, where I haven't been yet
- with each new trip want to move here more and more

And aikido folks look like this: I even managed to be relatively young here

January 2024
Aikido again

Berlin - city, of course, top nowadays

Bikes, architecture, both old and new

Calm traffic

Though sometimes a bit noisy and a bit Soviet

Non-standard thing - above-ground metro tracks

Thing that can give any Prague driver a heart attack - 10 km/h speed limit in the city. By Prague standards, going under 50 is beneath you

Turned out Berlin isn't fairytale everywhere for pedestrians either - for example, this place near abandoned Tempelhof airport. It's fun there, but around - not great

And this is what new houses look like in roughly the same area. In Prague an hour's walk from center there's nothing like this
