Liptovský Mikuláš

October 2021

I came here to walk through nature, this time through the Low Tatras

Everyone who's heard that Slovakia is Europe should know that Europe is not what you think

In 6 hours from Prague you can get by train to real mountains, and here they are

There's also a bakery that works 24/7 - an unseen thing for me in 8 years of life in Europe

Views in the city are just awesome

City is calm

In approximately this kind of house I lived for two days. The Slovak woman hosting me has a husband from Prague who knows something about this life

Main thing don't look left

Because it'll turn out the city is a terrible hole (in the photo - bus stop)

There's literally nothing in the city

City isn't designed for pedestrians at all

In the city there are butcher shops (it's not you)

And there's kvass - an unknown thing for Europe

City center is nice, but too modern, in my opinion

Nobody gives a shit about copyrights here

Main square

Center

Another square

That's it, center's over

Going to the station

Through the park

When you can't see the mountains, the city can't be distinguished from Uryupinsk

What gives this photo away? Only the Slovak street sign

This isn't a market, this is the main station

Schoolkids stare at phones. I like a hooligan entered the door "EXIT ONLY"

Euro-cashier

Euro-trains

But with such views Europe can be tolerated

Prague in 6 hours

And for now I ate a euro-bun which I bought in the only bakery in Europe that works 24\7
