New Year is coming soon, which means it's time to buy yourself presents :)
I wanted to buy myself an SSD drive for my laptop, because it's embarrassing in 2017 to boot the system for 5 minutes. Also needed thermal paste, because throttling in 2017 is no less embarrassing :)
I buy tech 99% of the time at alza.cz, because it's probably the most adequate tech store in Czech Republic. In Moscow I always praised Yulmart, but they managed to slide down during the time I lived there, so recently I bought only at Citilink. Maybe it slid down too, who knows?
In general, I chose myself a 240 GB hard drive (after all, we live in good times), ordered it. The next day I could already pick it up at the central warehouse, fortunately I only need to go a couple of tram stops, which I love :)
Of course, I expected a rush, after all in Czech Republic the holidays are coming very soon. But nothing, they managed - opened extra windows, put more people, increased working hours.
Here's what it all looked like in the middle of a day off - very good.

Had to wait about 10 minutes though. The guy in the photo's mom gave him a game for Xbox, he was wildly happy :D Remembered childhood, cool) True, Russian kids usually board games, and get cooler stuff as gifts, but a game will do too.
And the cherry on top of the Czech tech store's cuteness was that each buyer was given a free hot dog and mulled wine by barcode on the receipt. On the street though, the temperature was plus, well whatever.

And also, my young padawans, always look for discount coupons for Alza, I saved 200 crowns and bought at a price below average.
Yulmarts and Citilinks - take an example.
