Food delivery in Prague and Czech Republic - damejidlo

In Prague my laziness grew to the size of my ego, so I often started ordering food with delivery

Before coming to Czech Republic ordering food was something special for me: there wasn't particularly much money, prices bit, and food quality was, mainly, absolutely shitty.

Having arrived in Poděbrady to study Czech language, I started having lunch almost daily in the most various cafes - every arriving Russian would discover that portions are big, and prices are adequate. I'm silent about cheap beer, I'm already tired of it, give me tea.

So, after a year of living in Czech Republic I started using the site damejidlo.cz. This is perhaps the most famous food delivery service in Czech Republic.

You just need to enter an address, and you'll see those establishments that can deliver food to you right now.

What do they deliver? Mainly, fast food - pizza, kebabs, burgers, Chinese food. Also there are desserts, and especially cunning ones deliver alcohol in the evenings (it's allowed here, people drink here).

I mainly order pizza - if you search, you can always find a good one.

Some cafes take money for delivery (sometimes they take a hundred crowns, though the ride is 5 minutes), some - a dozen crowns for packaging (although, it would seem, how were they going to deliver it without packaging?) A huge plus is that you can leave a dissatisfied review (although for a couple of dozens of times I was dissatisfied only once - they brought a small pizza instead of large, though they returned the difference). For the fact that I was dissatisfied, they credited 50 crowns to my account. The incident (even such a small one) was completely exhausted. And then I ordered from that pizzeria many times, and progress was visible - with the pizza came an A4 sheet, where it was clearly and precisely written who, what and how ordered and it was visible that staff before sending also saw this sheet. They usually bring on time, within an hour. From lack of orders, I think, they don't suffer either - throughout the day you can see branded cars and mopeds. Well and for fun - sometimes pizza is brought in boxes with wonder-drawings. For example, here:
