In my note about meals I already wrote about various options for nutrition. However, I didn't write about a very important topic, so I decided to dedicate a separate note to it.
In Prague there's a unique canteen that not only has very democratic prices (meal is worth from 1 euro), but also it's designed that the food there is supposedly healthier. What's more, in this canteen they cook amazing pancakes - according to all the students I know.
The trick is that they allow eating there only people with dietary restrictions. To do this, you must get one of 6 types of diets from a doctor, which will allow you to eat in this canteen. What's most interesting - this doctor is located right in the building - you can get a diet right before visiting the canteen.

Here you can see what diets there are. By the way, the photo is rather old - before, a diet was issued based only on your word. Now the doctor actually looks at you, and if he decides that you don't look like a person suitable for this or that diet - they won't give anything. In general, the main diets are: reduced milk, limited fat, light diet. I have the latter. For its receipt it's necessary to have some problems with the stomach. Since in my case there are such problems, the doctor wrote me off such a diet.
The only annoying thing that over time appeared is that people often ask to take them to this canteen, take portions for them, then pay. But I'm already so sick of the canteen that I have no desire to take anyone anywhere. Although I myself go there anyway, just in case. Even already have a favorite dish - vegetable pancake 30 crowns.
By the way, a very interesting article about how a dietary canteen works, you can read it on Radio Prague.
I got this diet quite by chance from some girl on the street - she was walking and distributing information about this canteen. Since then, sometimes I eat there. However, in the summertime I obviously won't go.
The canteen is located at Albertov 7 (near FAMU). There's a special marker on the map.
