I know myself that the most interesting thing when reading someone's blog is when the author tells about their interesting life.
Well, finally something interesting happened to me - from April 1st I'm working at Microsoft.
Well, what can I tell you about Microsoft. Someday I'll write about interviews. Remember how it was when I tried to go to Google? Well, here it was something similar, only there were more circles of hell :)
But on the other hand, from the technical side Microsoft is good - on the 1st day they gave me a laptop, pass, all the little things. Of course, there are meal vouchers and other perks.
The first couple of weeks all I do is train - at my last job I came and on the second day was already working full steam :)
From the interesting stuff, the office is located in the fashionable office part of Prague - near Budějovická station. Nearby are all sorts of banks, O2 and other tech companies. I don't like the area because there's no life there except offices.
In photos it looks good, in reality it's more boring:

I'll work in the Azure cloud support team. Generally, almost my entire team is located in Romania, but I strictly refused to go there, I won't leave Prague :)
What else is interesting? Bananas and oranges for free, you can sit at any desk, there's no assigned place. There are many free spots.
You can work from home up to 100% of the time, which many people use. Generally, Microsoft gives lots of perks like free access to internal training programs, I don't even have time to browse through everything.
At first glance there's a lot of work, but people seem to manage. When I learn better, I'll travel around the world even more, because you can essentially work from any point on the planet.
Well, and the main treat - desks that can be raised and lowered. Want to work standing, want to work lying down. That's what lured me.
Well, when I found a desk with two monitors at once, my heart finally melted.

Well, and probably the most expected question - how much do they pay? This is absolutely not a secret, now I'll tell you everything....

Well, if you were subscribed to my Instagram, you would have known about this long ago:
