Prague center and Kaluga center

Recently wrote an article about what's better in Russia than in Czech Republic.

In fact, this question is quite complex. Essentially, I asked myself this question for a reason. I've been in Czech Republic for 5 years already (time flies), and I still like it. There are, of course, things that aren't exactly super here, but you can live with them too.

They say that after several years of emigration, the country that accepted you starts to terribly piss you off. In my case it became a bit different - now nothing pisses me off at all, and I look at Russia absolutely as neutrally as at the rest of the entire globe. Interesting feeling - before some crappy situations in Russia caused strong emotions (for example, I would be terribly pissed about bank closures, about ruble falling), but now I can only look at all this critically, without worrying about it at all.

And so, I thought about this - I need to go through all my memories of Czech Republic and Russia and find something in Russia about which I would say "well yes, this is better in Russia". Then I came to the conclusion that internet and mobile communication are better there. Actually, this isn't the last thing I came to, so maybe someday there will be a continuation.

But today I'll write about what, in my opinion, Czech Republic is better than Russia at.

This is such a strange feeling that urban atmosphere evokes in a person. It's not just about architecture, air, people's behavior. It's such an indescribable crap. For myself I concluded that being in this or that place changes how we form our thoughts.

Look at these 2 photos and decide for yourself what makes one better or worse than the other.

This is the center of Kaluga, where I lived for 17 years:

And this is - the center of Prague, where I've been living for 4 years:

Note, I won't say that in Czech Republic the tiles or houses are simply better. In Czech Republic I got used to seeing something better than I saw at home, which at a subconscious level made my brain do things better than I did at home.
