I don't understand people who enter the metro and immediately dig their noses into their phones. And just look up when they arrive.
I would like them to understand that the metro is not a boring tunnel. They can see a lot there. Starting with interesting people, ending with rats, pigeons and other animals that found a way to get there.
Of course, such people can also not look at their phones and instead close their eyes. So they don't only lose the view, but also the station where they need to get off.
I don't even know what's worse. On the one hand, I can probably forgive travelers who look at the map on their phone. On the other hand, sleeping people are also OK. But not me.
Even after 5 years here I enjoy the ride. I don't even know how you can be bored there. Even if you were born in Prague and ride there every day. For me every ride is a new experience, because I still don't know the city.
Besides, sometimes when I fall asleep, I fly through the whole metro and then have to go back. And I'm not talking about falling asleep in the last car, but about simple travel from point A to point B, where I just fell asleep because I'm a fool.
And by the way, escalators in Prague are almost the longest ones among European metros.
