Leidschendam

April 2023

This trip took place as part of the Benelux birthday eurotour, during which I visited:
Sinsheim - Karlsruhe - Ausfahrt - Luxembourg - Namur - Liège - Brussels - Dunkirk - Antwerp - Leidschendam - The Hague

It would seem, who in their right mind would choose a city with such a name to live in Holland? It's simple, 4 days here cost only almost 800 euros for four people. Everywhere else more expensive.
I don't know where and how the mistake happened, but in neighboring Belgium it was a couple times cheaper, while housing prices here aren't more expensive than in Prague.

To the bus stop from the house is a 15 minute walk. The calculation, possibly, is that you'll go by bike

Around - nature and beauty, but fucking boring

Canals

Trash bin

It got fun only when we decided to go to the store. At half past seven there was almost no bread on the shelves, had to take that endlessly long-lasting one in a bag.

The area where the store is located, in my opinion, somehow not Dutch

Seemed so, apparently

In the area there's only one establishment - kebab. Due to not knowing the language we had an epic fail here. For 6 euros you could buy a kebab, for 11 - super kebab. I asked what's super, the dude told me there's 2 buns. Didn't lie, fuck, really the whole difference was that for an extra 5 euros you get another bun, and nothing else. I thought it meant also meat with vegetables. No, just a bun. Fail. If you send me another 5 euros, it'll be a super-fail: the whole super-kebab is bun + bun + meat in a container, literally nothing else

Thank God from here goes a tram to The Hague. 20 minutes, and the suffering ends.

Conclusions - maybe I just got unlucky, but this isn't a city, but some kind of fucking mess from the category of Kladno
