A Bit About the Czech Podcast

A bit about my Czech podcast - with pictures, as you like.
The article is simultaneously a presentation, so there are like 10 slides in it

1. Farid

First there was an idea. I carried the idea for 2-3 years. I was lucky - on the internet I stumbled upon an organization that helped "start projects" for young people (hereinafter - "Scout Institute", "Scouts" etc. - has nothing to do with education, institute is like institution).
It all started with me choosing who would help me. The choice fell on Farid, because he knew how to film (thankfully unlearned thanks to me).
The first task was to take a photo together - we waited until the last day, so this is what happened.

2. Ondra

Until about the end of 2020 we cried about how sad we were and did nothing.
In January 2021 it struck me to do something, lasted exactly a week.

On January 7 I invited former classmate Ondra, with whom we conducted the interview.
The interview was crappy on all fronts: we didn't know what to talk about, overcomplicat ed technically, sound was from ass, hosted the podcast kinda together but not together.
For obvious reasons this trial episode didn't come out, but biggest thanks to Ondra - if not for him, I wouldn't have come to the conclusion that everything needs to be simplified 10 times.

Ondra, by the way, is top, always want to hang with him, but he always seems too cool for me.

3. Jonáš

Jumping to about April. What was done by then? Nothing.
At this time Jonáš, our project manager from Scouts' side, noticed that something somewhere isn't right.
At this time I turn 30 years old, and I'm totally fucked.

Jonáš drags us out of the house and starts torturing us with questions - what will this be, what will it be about.
We argue, I don't like anything.
Makes us write endless Google docs describing the project.

After about 5 sessions the picture finally comes together in my head.

Guess who's where.

4. Trang

During discussions Jonáš offers help from Scout Institute - they can invite someone famous through their channels.
Janek Rubeš from Honest Guide channel, thank God, didn't agree, I don't like him.

I personally asked to invite my old crush - blogger "Asijatka" (Asian girl).

She agreed, I'm in shock.
Chatted on Zoom. Turns out you can just do this with Czech celebrities.
When I become a celebrity, fuck we'll call you, I promise.

Asijatka, by the way, is called Trang. In life she's as top as on her blog.

5. First Filming, Farid Again

It was decided to film about 10 videos in the first season. We made a list of potential guests, questions.
Came to the conclusion that Farid won't be the second host, decided to invite him as the first guest.

Talked about Azerbaijan, I brought Armenian lavash to make it funnier.

6. Anna

Second came Farid's girlfriend: conveniently turned out she's Russian who lived most of her life in Italy.
And she also draws. Decided to make the first gif - for HYPE

7. Trang and "Outdoor" Filming

Jonáš expressed the opinion that "it would be cool if a Russian and Vietnamese ate Czech sausages by a campfire"

The campfire was found at Scouts.
We came to film - it's +40 outside.
Burning the main guest would be stupid, so we filmed in the shade where it was only +30.
Sheep and chickens walked around, grandpa felt like drilling on Sunday afternoon.

Advice to future generations - choose quieter places when inviting celebrities.

8. Klez

Soon it became clear that a) nothing's fucking clear and b) no time for anything - not one episode is ready.
I make a strong-willed decision and say there will be only 6 episodes total, not inviting anyone else.

One of the guests, again, was Farid's buddy - Frenchman Klez.
The episode with him, in my opinion, turned out one of the most interesting purely linguistically - couldn't talk about something serious because of language level, yet Klez endured almost an hour of speaking.

Special respect to Farid - turned out one of his main roles in the project is having many friends who will come and not chicken out.

9. Sasha

I couldn't not invite at least some Russian.
Didn't want to lose face.

Turned out that:
12 out of 10 candidates are afraid of camera
26 out of 10 don't speak Czech at sufficient level
110 out of 10 are busy (COVID, everyone's business is growing)

The only one who agreed and fit all parameters was Sasha, main person of Angarsk.
Sasha is cool.

With Sasha the first season ended - it was hard, I wouldn't take on organizing such things a second time, especially during a pandemic.
Let's see how it goes - if it's interesting to Czechs, we'll continue.
All Russians interested in Czech Republic praised me, which is weird, I'm not used to it.

10th Photo

Since there should be 10 photos in a presentation, I couldn't think of anything better than this

Notice how much better looking I got this year. Want the same? Be sure to waste all your nerves, and a bit of that masculine brutality will appear in you too.
