No escape from politics

Politics is an interesting thing. If a person is actively interested in politics, they're usually an asshole. If not interested - also an asshole. In general, you can't escape.

Personally I belong to the second group of assholes - I have no politics either in life or on my blog. I artificially limit the penetration of politics into my life - I hide uninteresting feeds on Facebook, often click the "not interested" button on YouTube.

And anyway I'm in Czech Republic. But don't think that if you leave, they won't brainwash you. They will, just less. And today I'll tell you about what news from Russia reaches even me, despite the fact that I'm not interested in them.

First, why this might be interesting to you. Many of my readers live in Russia and, accordingly, are in the Russian media space. I physically can't turn on Russian TV, can't hear radio, won't see newspapers. And anyway, I have no one to discuss new stories with, i.e. even word of mouth works poorly in my case.

Only one thing remains - the internet. And I'll note right away that I still spend about 50 percent of my time reading resources in Russian. Most of the Russian content I read is blogs, but not many of them: varlamov, tema, levik and a couple of blogs about Czech Republic (by the way, should I write about who you can read and who you better not?)

In second place is YouTube, and there my tastes are quite standard - I have about 50 subscriptions, and 99% are mainstream.

And notice, all channels are entertainment, some educational. No Navalny. Nothing even close about politics.

And so, elections are coming soon. First YouTube ate my brains with Grudinin. How? Don't know, but all YouTube trends were filled with him.

And recently entertainment channels also started getting into politics. Elections, whatever. Come vote. Sobchak pouring something from a glass on someone, just like childhood on TV.

Anyway. Seems to me YouTube is no longer great. It used to be fun to spend time there, but now - only tons of ads and politics.
