Ústí nad Labem

October 2015

I have no idea how we got to Ústí then, but apparently through some very beautiful forest

Either I'm a genius photographer or Shishkin really painted here

Ústí nad Labem, surprisingly, is located by the Elbe River, so bridge lovers will be happy

Ústí that year was remembered for being covered in advertising shit

And some interesting leash lock

In Ústí there's some famous cable-stayed bridge

From here cool views of the town open up

But we wanted to go up by cable car to the castle

Town under your feet

Attention to the upper part - Czechs don't like Ústí nad Labem because there are many Roma in the town

Why am I telling some bullshit about Ústí? This trip was one of my first outings from bed after almost half a year of illness.
During that time I aged about 10 years and here I'm 24. Now I'm 30, and I look much better than then.
I don't even remember what we did in the town, what I planned to do - I felt extremely shitty

Hit harder than this dog

And we went home that day

I almost died after a whole day outside, but very beautiful

October 2020

Five years later we returned, but Ústí nad Labem still had no luck - I completely forgot about photos that day

Ústí is one of the most interesting towns for me - it seems to me that here for pennies you can buy an apartment that in 20 years will be extremely expensive.
This is one of the most beautiful towns in Czechia, whose beauty, in my opinion, nobody sees except me: rocks, river, terrain, history and not the dumbest people. There's at least potential, and what will happen with the town - we'll live and see

September 2022

As an honest investor, I came here again to understand whether you can live here or not

What will surprise the traveler right away is that there are many young people in the town

What surprised us specifically - it's not so easy to get to Ústí now. According to the plan we were supposed to go there earlier, but when we went without preparation, it turned out that there were simply no seats on the train and people were standing in it, and that's how the walk to Divčí Hrady came about.

This time tickets were bought a couple of days in advance, we had to kick an Indian and a Chinese off the seats. Half the train was standing.

Ústí greeted with a bunch of trolleybuses

Beautiful center

Still the same beautiful terrain

The main goal of the trip - to look at the "Klíše" district. Judging by the map, this district will potentially be the most expensive (spoiler alert - I'm most likely right)

Police lawlessness creativity

After half an hour in town it became clear the main problem of the town - it's wide for cars, but the town is full of pedestrians due to poverty, so everything looks a bit empty as soon as you enter such a district

Bus stop

Here it became clear that I'm home (old Brad Pitt on the right agrees)

In places indistinguishable from Prague

Design, typography, culture

The best definition of Ústí - this town is "brown"

Most popular shops: pawnshop, funeral bureau, everything for yoga

Street signs are simplest

I'M HOME

Parks, by the way, are beautiful

By the way, the second distinctive feature of Ústí - special love for fountains and little fountains. We saw about 30 in a couple of hours, there's nothing else like this in Czechia.
This is you, shitting in the comments

Parking here is still 1996 and full Brno

Trolleybus and bus drawn with special love

Sometimes views are visible

Suddenly PIPE (I'm home #100500 for the day)

Second park is extremely good

Here's proof

And here

Suddenly ROMANTIC (I'm home, tired of repeating)

Ústí in a vacuum

Brown

Gentlemen prefer to vape

Casino, candidates (still assholes like at home), parking lots

First time in my life I saw such a sign

The very center. In the photo a "hole" that's apparently been in this state for a long time. Since it's election time (asshole candidates), candidates claim there will be health, sports, we'll remove the hole.

The atmosphere in Ústí is special for Czechia, I don't understand why nobody notices that this is full Berlin

Attempt to improve the town, but for whom, for guys with kebab and Czech coat of arms on a sweater?

Can't wait for the town to be gentrified

Such good stuff is going to waste

Conclusions about Ústí are as follows:
