Bamberg is a suburb of Nuremberg. There is a fast, high-quality train that goes there. It's a shame that the ticket is quite expensive.
At the train station, according to old Bavarian tradition, there is sadness and sorrow.

But the normal city begins quite quickly.

In general, it seems beautiful here, and the locals like to hang out here.

Everything is so medieval (like the Flixbus service).

There is water

There are cars parked by the water, so you don't think that people here are more civilized than you

There is a castle in the center (walk up the hill)

A German man on a sign is chasing (black?) children with a badminton racket.

The city was visited during the elections, so there are photos of candidates at every turn. Most of them show happy boomers from a good, hard-working generation, not like today's lazybones.

The best thing about the city is the fastenings for the shutters (they are all different).

Reminiscent of [Brno]. (../Czechia/Brno)

The river is beautiful, like in Pisek

And yes, we are in Germany

Although the views are absolutely rural Czech

Interesting things on the signs

You can visit Bamberg if you have a free day in the area
