From classic Paris to Milan goes TGV. Just 7 hours, and you're in the capital of fashion idiot drivers. Train was about an hour late, Italian railways easily gave 25% refund
Arrived in the evening, checked in, Airbnbs everywhere are the same, almost exactly the same was in Budapest

And bakeries like in Kaluga of the 90s, no comparison with France
Market in the middle of the day - excellent, prices fine
After a few minutes of walking it became clear Milan wasn't made for pedestrians
